Limpet shell cufflinks

A tiny limpet shell, found whilst beach combing at Island Hill in Strangford Lough, was the inspiration for these cufflinks.
Created using a mould of that very shell, Louisa attaches the fired pieces to sterling silver cufflink backs, oxidises them to enhance the beautiful textures and finally polishes them to bring out the shine of the silver.
A unique pair of cufflinks, featuring all of the natural markings and organic imperfections found in nature.

Please note that due to the nature of how these are made each set is slightly different and completely unique to its owner.
