Handmade lunula shaped pendant made with my own silver stamp featuring 'Banlaoch' - meaning female warrior in Irish - written in ancient ogham script.

The pendant includes 24 carat gold gilded sun rays and circles at the top, applied using the keum boo technique.

Prehistoric Lunulas, would have been worn entirely around the neck for special ceremonial or ritual purposes. The Banlaoch pendant is my interpretation of these archaeological treasures - a piece to empower whoever wears it.

Ogham was used in Ireland and parts of the UK between the 5th and 9th centuries and is the earliest known form of writing in Ireland.

Found in carvings and some printed materials, Ogham stones can be found in many locations throughout Ireland, with the inscriptions written vertically and read from bottom to top.
