Ogham bar pendant

Handmade sterling silver bar pendant.

Made using my own silver stamp, it features the word 'Banlaoch' - meaning female warrior in Irish - written in ancient ogham script.

The Banlaoch collection is my nod towards the types of archaeological treasures you might find in a museum - pieces to empower whoever wears them.

Ogham was used in Ireland and parts of the UK between the 5th and 9th centuries and is the earliest known form of writing in Ireland. It is usually read vertically, from bottom to top.

The bar and thick tubed bail is made from sterling silver, and it comes supplied with an 18 inch sterling silver chain. All silver is recycled 100% eco silver.
