Banlaoch ogham earrings with keum boo

One of a kind earrings that were part of a special collection shown at a Craft NI exhibition earlier in 2025. The earrings are now available to buy here and feature:

These special earrings combine timeless Irish symbolism with modern craftsmanship.

Completely handmade from sterling silver, the earrings both features the word Banlaoch - meaning “female warrior” in Irish - in ancient Ogham script across them.

This has been hand stamped, and the gold applied using the ancient Korean technique of keum boo, using heat and pressure to fuse the gold to the silver. 

The silver has then had a patina applied to highlight the stamped features and give an aged look.

A perfect balance of heritage and contemporary design, the Banlaoch ogham earrings are a unique addition to any jewellery collection, a pair to empower whoever wears them.
